Leveraged Lending

Ensure that consistent and robust analysis is applied by all lines of defence in the analysis and monitoring of Leveraged Loans.

This workshop equips participants to:

  • Evaluate primary sources of repayment: model a company’s future free cash flow and debt repayment capacity based on assumptions and sensitivities which are consistent and supportable in the current economic climate
  • Evaluate secondary sources of repayment: understand the key drivers of Enterprise Valuation Analysis and provide commentary supporting the reasonableness of underlying assumptions and validity of stress testing
  • Distinguish strong and weak loan structures and covenant packages and recognize how they the influence overall credit standing of a company
  • Recommend appropriate triggers to monitor leveraged exposures.

Writing Effective Credit Applications

Increasing effectiveness in the credit approval process by improving the quality of analysis and writing in credit submissions.

  • Write credit proposals that are more focused, succinct and conclusive, clearly articulating the risks and demonstrating their credit judgement.
